Over the past decades, Latin America has experienced severe environmental degradation which, in conjunction with repeated economic crises, has strongly affected the quality of life of its people. And yet, this negative tendency has not caused an increase in environmental awareness. While there have been some efforts to promote environmental education, there still is lots to be done.

Therefore, we decided to create an educational project for Spanish-speaking children and adolescents, oriented towards sustainable development. That was EcoPibes' goal, which is why we don't provide complete translations into other languages.

Nevertheless, we produced a presentation in English so that you can get to know us. We started EcoPibes from scratch, with our main (and basically only) resource being humans. Capability and commitment have made it possible that, each month, thousands of visitors take part in creating a better future.
